Duplicate an outing

Clone an outing’s whole setup, including this year’s actual players, into a new one-off outing - no saved template and no annual plan required.

Per-trip plan

Run it again as a new outing

  1. Open the outing you want to copy.
  2. Under Reuse this setup, select Run again as a new trip.
  3. You land straight on the copy, with the same rounds, rules, group size and player list.

The copy starts unscheduled and without dates, just as if you had built it by hand, so you set new dates and generate its tee sheet the usual way. Scores are not copied - it is the setup that travels, not last time’s results.

How this differs from a template

Duplicating is the one-off cousin of saving an outing as a template. A template is built for an outing you run again and again: it needs the account-wide annual plan specifically, and it deliberately leaves the player list and the dates behind so it stays useful year after year. Duplicating is for the outing in front of you right now, so it works the other way round: it needs the outing you are copying from to already be entitled - either through a Trip pass bought for that outing directly, or automatically if your account is on the annual plan - and it carries the player list across because there is usually no next time to keep it generic for.

If you run the same outing every season, a template is the better fit. If you just want to repeat this particular outing once, duplicating gets you there faster.
