Type the totals in, no live scoring needed

Not every round gets scored on the app while it’s being played, and it doesn’t need to be. If the cards stayed on paper from the first tee to the last, open the round once everyone is in and type each player’s total instead.

1. Open your outing and switch to Match day.
2. Choose the round and select Enter results manually.
3. Type each player’s total.
4. Select Save results.

This is there from the moment the round is created - you don’t need hole data, and you don’t need to have opened scoring first. It’s a straight alternative to running live scoring, not something you turn to only once that has failed.

It feeds results and the season table the same way

A total entered this way ranks and closes the round exactly like one scored live on the app. It’s what turns into the results page, the trip standings, and, if this outing is part of a season, the Order of Merit (see the glossary). Nothing downstream treats it as second best.

A fallback, not a lesser feature

This isn’t a consolation prize for a society that couldn’t get live scoring working. It’s built for the ones that never wanted it in the first place - a straightforward social, a long-standing paper card nobody’s replacing, or simply a day when the phones stayed in pockets. It works for any individual format with a single total per player: stroke play, Stableford and par/bogey. Formats with no single total - one player against another, or a hole-by-hole pot - aren’t covered this way, because there’s no one number to type in.
