Set up your society

A name is all it takes

A society is the container every outing, member and season of yours belongs to - your club or your golfing group, set up once so everything else has somewhere to sit. All it needs to exist is a name.

1. From your dashboard, select Create society.
2. Type a name for your club or group.
3. Save, and the society is ready for its first outing.

Outings and members come after, in any order

Nothing else is asked for up front. Add players to an outing whenever you are ready and your member directory builds itself from that; a brand new society with nothing in it yet is a perfectly normal place to start.

You can run more than one

One login can run more than one society, which suits anyone who helps organise for more than one club. The free plan covers one society; running a second is part of the annual plan. A person can belong to more than one of your societies too, each with its own handicap and history kept separate - see "Keep one address book for the society" for how that stays untangled.
